| | Hangzhou City University (HZCU) emerged at the historical moment of China’s higher education reform and innovation. As a novel urban university, HZCU has made significant contributions to local economic and social development in such fields as teaching, research, social service and cultural heritage through carrying forward Zhejiang University’s fine tradition of "Seeking the Truth and Pioneering New Trails" and Hangzhou’s humanistic spirit of “Pursuing Exquisite Harmony and Wider Opening”. After years of exploring the school-running system and mechanism, educational philosophy, and talents training mode, HZCU has become a promising university with distinctive features and innovative vitality, laying a solid foundation for further development. |
