University Strategy 2011-2015
The University Strategy was adopted by the Board in July 2011 for the period 2011-2015.
The University Strategy, which stems from the University's Mission and Vision, is an integrated planning across the University, which is underpinned by the University's Academic Plan, Staff Development Plan, International Exchange and Cooperation Plan which are closely integrated within a complete planning framework. The University has identified nine strategic goals to enable us to fulfil our commitment to our Mission and realise our Vision.  Each of these goals is associated with a number of actions which will strengthen our position as a high quality university.
Our mission is to give full play to the advantageous mechanism of favorable cooperation between the municipal government and ZUCC, center around the fundamental task of cultivating practice-oriented, inter-disciplinary and pioneering talents, further promote the reform and innovation of the practice-oriented talents training mode, strive hard to grow into a university featured by internationalized education as well as innovation and entrepreneurship education, encourage a harmonious development among various majors, disciplines and teaching staff construction, unremittingly promote ZUCC’s comprehensive strengths and social service abilities based on the solid foundation, optimized structure, overall superiority and key-points breakthroughs, and make more contributions to the economic and social development.
