One of the development strategies of ZUCC is to develop its internationalized educational links. ZUCC is in ongoing communications with prestigious overseas universities regarding academic studies, exchanges, and pedagogical approaches. ZUCC is actively involved in international educational cooperation through joint programs, collaboration in developing curriculum, student exchange, credit recognition, and joint research. The purpose of these activities is to develop students’ international awareness, their spirit of teamwork, their ability to innovate and their good character. By 2008, ZUCC has developed 3 joint degree programs with the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and the University of Waikato, New Zealand. To date, over 1100 students have participated in these joint-degree programs. ZUCC has also signed cooperation contracts with more than 50 renowned universities and organizations in various countries and regions including Australia, New Zealand, the US, France, Ireland, Denmark, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau. A series of exchange and cooperation activities have been carried out in the form of international joint programs, student exchanges, staff exchange, and other activities.
