On September 6, the National Ministry of Education issued correspondence to the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and officially approved establishing the “Union College of Zhejiang University City College-University of Waikato”. It symbolizes that the globalization of education of Zhejiang University City College has achieved a new level and made breakthrough on Sino-foreign cooperative educational institutions for higher education in Hangzhou.
