On the afternoon of April 12, the first meeting of the 11th Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference was successfully concluded at the Zhejiang Great Hall of the People. Jiang Jiqing, director of the Department of Civil Engineering of Zhejiang University City College, was elected member of the standing committee.
　　In the CPPCC meeting, the College Party Secretary Ye Min, the Vice President of Medical School Zeng Linghui and Jiang Jiqing attended the meeting. Director of United Front Work Department Lou Yisong was present. They were placed in four groups of social sciences, press and publication, friendship with foreign countries, educational circles and nonpartisans and special invitations, actively participated in the administration and discussion of state affairs, and offered advice.
