ZUCC MUNA Participated in the 10th Session of Pan-Yangtze River Delta MUN Conference

From November 23 to 25, six students from the School of Foreign Languages participated in the 10th Session of Pan-Yangtze River Delta MUN Conference at Zhejiang University as representatives of ZUCC. It is the fourth time for ZUCC MUNA to attend MUN Conference.

The Conference was held at the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University, which attracted more than 200 representatives, observers and instructors of over 40 schools across the country to participate. The Conference consisted of seven committees, namely, the United Nations Environment Program, the Historical United Nations Security Council, the Shangri-La Dialogue, the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, the International Labor Organization, the European Council and the Main Press Center to discuss sustainable development of polar ecology and local residents’ lives, the situation in Rwanda in 1994, the security and peace in Asia, the countermeasures to address refugee crisis and protect refugee rights, AIDS and labour rights, and the Brexit issue, respectively.

The MUN Conference allows each participant to develop his/her own logical thinking and expression skills while keeping abreast of international affairs, expanding the horizons and visions of foreign language students and making them aware of a bigger world beyond the campus life awaiting for the youth to explore.
