On the afternoon of May 11th, 2018 First “Senior High School-University: Forum of Foreign Language Teaching Reform” was successful held at the meeting room 317 in administrative building. The purpose of this meeting was to further highlight the characteristics of international education, improve the quality of foreign language teaching, perfect the foreign language curriculum and teaching management level, and lend an ear to the foreign language teaching community in senior high schools, making good connection of talents cultivation between senior high schools and universities under new plan of college entrance examination. The forum has invited nearly 20 provincial key high schools to attend. President of Hangzhou No. 14 High School and Meritorious Teacher Qiu Feng, Vice President of Hangzhou Foreign Languages School and Superfine Teacher Xia Guming gave keynote speeches. At the same time, Vice President Zhu Yongping gave a welcome address on behalf of ZUCC. The Minister of Academic Affairs Office Fan Xiaoqing gave a report about situation of running school. The Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Pang Jixian gave a keynote speech. There were about 20 people attending the forum, including representatives of teachers of the School of Foreign Languages, the heads of recruitment groups of cities and prefectures and so on.
