Students of the School of Medicine Won the First Prize in the National College Student Life Science Contest

In the just-concluded 3rd National College Student Life Science Contest, the Team 30279 of ZUCC School of Medicine entered the finals as one of the representative teams from Zhejiang Province. Under the guidance of the teachers, the participating students gave outstanding performance in the defense, which fully demonstrated their scientific research situation and the research results obtained in the past six months, receiving unanimous praise from the judges, and winning the First Prizes as a historic breakthrough. They demonstrated the excellent quality and good spirit of the students of ZUCC School of Medicine, adding more brilliance to ZUCC.

The Team 30279 consists of four students majoring in clinical medicine: Zhang Zhesheng, Lu Kaizhong, Xu Diyan and Xue Mingheng. The participation topic is “Research on the Impact of TcpC on Neutrophil NETosis and Its Mechanism”. The instructors are Professor Pan Jianping and Teacher Fang Jie. After a long period of hard work, they eventually won the unanimous affirmation of the judges once again and won the First Prize among many strong participants in the national finals with their meticulous preparation and calm defense.
