Students of Media Studies Set New Records in the 11th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students

At the end of November, the 11th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students “Convention of Ideas” discipline competition results exhibition ceremony was held in Beijing. Leaders from relevant departments across the country, representatives of judges, 31 media and more than 900 representatives of award-winning teachers and students from various colleges gathered in the auditorium of the CPPCC National Committee to participate in the ceremony of creativity.

There were 1,504 colleges and universities participating in the Competition, with more than 1.01 million college student participants, covering 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. In 2019, 404662 groups of works were submitted online, with more than 900,000 pieces. In the national class A discipline competition, the work of the student team of ZUCC School of Media Studies & Humanities stood out among others, and won 2 national second prizes and 4 third prizes.

The Competition has established a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship for China’s advertising practice education, and serves as a stage for contemporary college students to show their self-worth. The student team of the School of Media Studies & Humanities has actively participated in each event since the first National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students, participated in provincial and national competitions on the basis of the college competitions, combined professional theoretical knowledge with specific practical training, and repeatedly achieved good results, showing the style of students of media studies.
