On December 2, the New-era Labor Education Research Center of ZUCC was established. Zheng Rongsheng, the Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress, and the Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, was appointed as a guest professor of the school. Hong Qinghua, the secretary of the school’s party committee, and President Luo Weidong, attended the ceremony. Zheng Rongsheng pointed out that the Research Center should be built into a characteristic research institution based in Hangzhou, radiating the whole province, and facing the whole nation, with the characteristics of the era, of Hangzhou, and of ZUCC; it will become an exchange base for labor education research and labor education practice; it will contribute to the construction of a first-class applied university, high-quality development and construction of Zhejiang for a common prosperity demonstration zone, and construction of Hangzhou for becoming a city model.
