In March 2021, the team of Professor Linghui Zeng of the School of Medicine published a paper entitled “RhoA/Rock activation represents a new mechanism for inactivating Wnt/β-catenin signaling in the aging-associated bone loss” on Cell Regeneration, reporting on the regulation of aging-associated bone loss involving a new mechanism by which RhoA/Rho kinase (Rock) activates Janus kinase (Jak) and directly phosphorylates glycogen synthase kinase-3βTyr216 residues to destroy β-catenin (Gsk3β).
