On October 21, Zhejiang University City College organized the faculty and students to watch the live broadcasting of “Conference on Celebration of 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Red Army Long March”. They listened to the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping carefully. General Secretary Xi stresses that, the most precious spiritual fortune the Long March leaves for us is the great Long March spirit. People without spirit will not succeed and a nation without spirit will not grow strong. Spirit is the soul for a nation to survive permanently. Only when it achieves the spirit of a certain height can a nation stand steadily and move forward bravely in the torrents of the history.     

　　After the live broadcasting, both the faculty and students show that they have obtained new understanding of the 25,000 miles Long March of the Red Army and of the new long march today. They are determined to learn, understand and advocate the Long March Spirit, to firm the ideal and belief and constantly encourage themselves to move forward with original intention in mind.
