Recently, the 2018 CCTV Star of Outlook English Talent Competition, Zhejiang and National Tryout was held in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou. After several selections, the outstanding contestants from different regions of the Zhejiang Province who stood out in the municipal finals participated in the competition for the adult group of universities. Six contestants of ZUCC achieved good results by means of clear and fluent expression, versatile talent shows, clam and steady performance and flexible and sensitive strain capacity. Wu Siyu of the School of Foreign Languages won the bronze of Zhejiang Province, advanced to National Qualification as a top 10 contestant. Huang Jing of the School of Law and Chen Yixuan of the School of Business won the first prize of Zhejiang Province, as well as Zhu Xuan and Shan Jiarui of the School of Foreign Languages and Ma Mengyao of the School of Business wining the second prize of Zhejiang Province, fully demonstrating the excellent English expression and speech skills of ZUCC.
