A few days ago, Zhou Miao, a teacher in the Department of Architecture of Zhejiang University City College, won the gold award of the 10th Qian Xuesen Urban Studies “Urban Cultural Heritage Protection Issues” by virtue of his latest monograph, Architectural Transformation and Formulas in the Tang and Song Dynasties: A Study of Wood-framed Architecture in the Central Jin Area during the Five Dynasties and the Song and Jin Dynasties, and his outstanding achievements in the theory and methods of architectural archaeology.
