On the morning of April 13th, Zhejiang University City College signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Dawning Information Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sugon") and the Institute of Digital Economy Industry of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The first institute of industry at ZUCC, Zhejiang University City College-Sugon Modern Institute of Industry, was officially established.

 

Li Guojie, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and researcher of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, unveiled and delivered a speech for the Institute of Industry. Hong Qinghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang University City College attended the meeting and delivered a speech. President Luo Weidong, on behalf of ZUCC, signed a tripartite strategic cooperation framework agreement with Wei Zhenguo, Vice President of Dawning Information Industry Co., Ltd., and Hu Chuliang, Executive Vice President of the Institute of Digital Economy Industry of the Institute of Computing Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

 

According to the agreement, the three parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in such aspects as collaborative education through industry-university cooperation, cultivating dual-position(with professional position and technical position) teaching team, construction of practice training base and scientific research innovation base, high-level scientific research cooperation, industrial talent training base, building quality evaluation system in the Institute of Industry, support of scientific research information projects and ecological cooperation resources. The three parties will jointly promote the construction of the Institute of Industry. Sugon will work with the University to formulate talent training and professional construction plans based on the needs for industrial talents, jointly carry out the cooperative education projects of industry-university cooperation, and build a practical teaching system; the Institute of Digital Economy Industry will provide support from the aspects of technological frontier and technological depth.
