The first SAE 2023 International Conference on Low Altitude Aircraft and Urban Smart Three-dimensional Transportation was held successfully in Hangzhou on October 20-21, 2023. The conference was hosted by Hangzhou City University and SAE International, attracting over 300 experts from fields of low altitude aerial vehicles, aviation, smart vehicles, and smart traffic. The event focused on eight key areas, including path planning and safe flight control, intelligent decision-making and multi-aircraft cooperation, power-driven and battery, advanced configuration and noise and vibration control, smart vehicles and urban smart three-dimensional transportation, intelligent cabin and human-computer interaction, multi-sensor fusion, and reliable low-altitude communication.

HZCU vice president, Si Rongxi and SAE International General Manager of China, Xu Bingliang attended this conference and gave speeches. The opening ceremony was hosted by Bai Jie, Hangzhou City University professor, and foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering.
